Die energiegeladene Allroundkünstlerin brennt ein Feuerwerk mitreißender Songs ab. Ihre Stimme und ihr Akkordeon verschmelzen dabei zu einem berauschenden Hör- und Seh-Erlebnis. Virtuos und mit großer Leichtigkeit wandert The Cat's Back zwischen Blues, Zigeunerliedern, Rock ´n´ Roll und Balladen hin und her. Überraschungen, liebevolle Details und jede Menge Zusatz-Instrumente sind dabei Teil des Programms. Die gebürtige Amsterdamerin The Cat's Back ist vielseitig und stimmgewaltig. Sie interpretiert bekannte Songs von Alexandra, Tom Waits, Nora Jones, Janis Joplin u.a. auf ihre unverwechselbare Art. Aber auch ihrer eigenen Feder entspringen Hits; deutsch, englisch, französisch oder niederländisch sind diese Lieder wunderschön wehmütig und zart, augenzwinkernd, ergreifend und erfrischend.
