Join us in the handmade Cha-Wan workshop inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi - finding beauty in imperfection at Ceramidashery.

Discover the quiet joy of creating with your hands. In this immersive, hands-on pottery workshop, you’ll be guided into an experience where creativity becomes a form of meditation. It is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the present moment.

As your hands meet the clay, you’ll begin to notice its texture, its rhythms, and its subtle shifts. Clay becomes a detail of presence. Each curve and unexpected form is a gentle reminder that beauty does not lie in flawlessness, but in individuality and in the quiet stories held within every imperfection.

Throughout the workshop, you will explore, play, and follow the natural flow of the material while learning traditional techniques used to shape a handmade Cha-Wan. You’ll embrace organic forms, discover unique textures, and experience the quiet artistry that arises when you let go of perfection and embrace imperfection.

Once your form is shaped, we’ll apply underglaze to add more personal touches before the first firing at 980°C. Afterward, each bowl is coated with a transparent glaze to preserve its

The result is a timeless, one of a kind creation, completed with your own signature and infused with the presence, intention, and quiet beauty of your process.
