About this workshop:

This two-part, online workshop running on the 4th and 11th September from 17:00-18:30 CET is aimed to equip participants with foundational knowledge and tools to communicate about sports in an inclusive, engaging and stigma-free way.

You will explore inclusion in sport, the language and narratives, and how to be inclusive in your communications.

Session 1: Foundations on inclusive communications

  • Why inclusive communications matters.
  • Key terms and frameworks for communicating on sports in an inclusive way
  • Unpacking the stigma and stereotypes in communications on para and adaptive sports

Session 2: Shifting the Narratives

  • Strategies for inclusive storytelling
  • Creating inclusive content that connects with your audience
  • Building meaningful, manageable strategies to activate your mission through sport

Focus: Language, representation, storytelling, inclusive content creation and organisational tools
