Description
BREATHWORK FOR MEN
(Deutsche Version unten)
Conversation, presence and breath - guided by a woman
SPEAK. LISTEN. BREATHE.
Most men carry a lot.
Few have a place to set it down.
This is an evening for men to talk with each other openly - and then to go into the body, through the breath.
ABOUT THE EVENING
In a world driven by performance, responsibility and constant mental load, many men rarely pause to ask:
Who am I - beyond my roles?
How do I actually feel?
How is my body coping with pressure and stress?
What state is my nervous system in?
The evening has two parts.
First, we talk. An open conversation among men, in safety and presence.
Then, we breathe. From simple breathing tools you can use every day, to a deep guided breath journey.
A DIFFERENT MIRROR
This men's space is intentionally guided by a woman.
Not your partner. Not your mother. Not your colleague.
A woman who needs nothing from your answers - who listens, holds the space and reflects back what she hears.
You get two kinds of reflection:
from the other men, who know what you are talking about,
and from a woman's view - clear, honest and without judgement.
Many men say things in a space like this that they have never said out loud.
Not because they are asked to.
Because, for once, nobody needs anything from them.
WHAT WE TALK ABOUT
The topics come from the men in the room. Often they include:
- pressure, performance and the fear of failing
- being a partner, a father, a son
- anger and stress - and what to do with them
- relationships with women - what is hard to say at home
- tiredness, burnout and the body
- purpose, direction, what comes next
- loneliness, even when life is full
You can speak, or you can listen. Listening is part of it too.
What is said in the room stays in the room.
THE BREATH
Breath you can use every day
Functional breathing, inspired by the Buteyko method and Oxygen Advantage:
- nasal, light and slow breathing
- simple breath holds to sense and build your CO2 tolerance
- practical tools for work, sport, difficult conversations and better sleep
The breath journey
Conscious connected breathing, rooted in the rebirthing tradition of Leonard Orr:
- you breathe continuously, with no pause between inhale and exhale
- the mind quiets and the body can let go of what it has been holding - tension, old patterns, unexpressed emotion
- you lie down and are fully guided throughout, with music
WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
Breathwork is the intentional use of breathing patterns to influence the nervous system, emotional regulation and mental clarity.
Modern research shows that conscious breathing can:
- reduce stress and burnout symptoms
- support emotional regulation and resilience
- improve focus and decision-making
- support better sleep and recovery
- help regulate the nervous system under pressure
Breathwork is increasingly used in leadership development, elite sports, therapy and corporate wellbeing.

Participation is always voluntary, and you are free to pause or stop at any time during the session.
A NOTE ON GROUP ENERGY
Breathwork in a group is not a silent meditation.
The breath often becomes deeper and louder, and the body may express itself in its own way - a sigh, movement, tears, laughter, words, sometimes even a shout.
None of this is expected of you, and nothing has to happen.
Some sessions are quiet, others are more alive. Both are normal - it is simply something letting go.
If something in the room touches or activates you, that is often valuable information about your own process - and I am here to support you with it.
Come ready to stay with your own breath and your own experience, rather than what is happening around you.
You are always free to pause, rest or step out if you need to.
This applies to group sessions. A 1:1 session is a different experience - just you and me, in a calm space and at your own pace. If a group feels like too much for now, that can be a gentle place to start.

DEUTSCH
- Sinn, Richtung, was als Nächstes kommt
WAS IST BREATHWORK?
