ESN Trip to Ticino

Ready for an unforgettable weekend in the sunny south of Switzerland? Join ESN Winterthur, ESN Fribourg, ESN Genève & ESN Lugano for an epic getaway to Ticino filled with lakeside relaxation, adventures, and amazing international company!

🌊 Friday – Arrival & Lakeside Chill in Lugano

• We kick off the trip by heading to beautiful Lugano, where palm trees and lake views await 🌴
• Spend the afternoon relaxing by the lake, soaking up the sun, and getting to know fellow ESN students.
• In the evening, enjoy a delicious pizza dinner followed by an unforgettable ESN party night organized by ESN Lugano 🎉

After dancing the night away, we’ll stay overnight in a cozy hostel – yes, with a swimming pool! 🏊‍♂️

🚤 Saturday – Adventure Time in Locarno & Beyond

• After an invidual breakfast, we check out and head to Locarno for a day full of choices:
• Option 1: Relaxing boat ride across the lake to Ascona – perfect for soaking in the Mediterranean vibes
• Option 2: A scenic hike in Valle Verzasca – famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and breathtaking nature

After exploring, we’ll return to Lugano, grab our luggage, and travel back to Winterthur together 🚆

⏱️Meeting point: Friday 8:00 am at Winterthur train station next to the Rice up. We will be back on Saturday around 11 pm in the evening. (Times can change, look out for messages in the groupchat!)

🎒 What to Bring:

• Clothes for the weekend
• Towel, Hygine and usual products you need
• Good shoes for walking around
• Swimsuit
• Snacks for the train trip
• Cash
