Swiss Train Rally Spring 26

Dear Erasmi,

Get ready and embark with us on the Swiss Train Rally Spring 26 edition! Join us for a full day of adventure as we travel across Switzerland by train and discover several new cities within just one day. Prove your team spirit: meet teams from other ESN sections for special challenges or compete against them for the victory. To reward your efforts, a giant afterparty will be thrown where the winning teams will be announced. The Swiss Train Rally awaits! 

REGISTRATION: Will be opened on Saturday, 2nd of May at 12:00.

WHERE: We meet at the Bern main station (under the departure screens).

WHEN: The event takes place on Saturday, 16th of May from earlz morning between 7:00-8:00 until late at night (midnight). Times will be specified later.

PRICES:

With ESNcard:

• with Halbtax / GA Night / no train reduction: 15 CHF
• with GA: 5 CHF

Without ESNcard:

• with Halbtax / GA Night / no train reduction: 20 CHF
• with GA: 10 CHF

 Tickets include: Transportation, adterparty entrance.

Tickets DO NOT include: Lunch and dinner (you can bring your own food or buy it along the way), drinks at the club.

Important Info: We will walk a lot, so wear comfortable shoes and layered clothes. Please note that after buying your ticket, you will be required to provide your emergency contact information and you will be invited to sign up for the teams. The corresponding form will be sent out on Telegram.

ESNcard discount

The ticket options “with ESNcard” are available at a special reduced price for holders of the ESNcard. Please only purchase a ticket from this category if you own a valid ESNcard or if you plan to buy one in the near future. You may buy a card from ESN Bern for 15.- CHF. It is valid for one year and will give you discounts at our activities. Note that the card needs to be filled with your personal information to be valid and that it will be checked at the beginning of all activities.

GA

The “Generalabonnement” (GA) by the Swiss train company SBB is a monthly or yearly subscription that grants holders unlimited travel on almost all trains. This is not handled by ESN. Please only buy a ticket from the category “with GA” if you own this train subscription from SBB. Halbtax (Half fare), GA Night and local transportation subscriptions are irrelevant for this ticket option.

Participation in the ESN Bern program takes place at your own risk. The university and ESN Bern accept no liability for accidents that occur during ESN Bern activities. Adequate insurance cover is the responsibility of the participants.

You understand that you will not receive payment or other compensation for that. If you do not wish your pictures to be taken or published by ESN Bern - it is your responsibility to opt out and consequently inform the responsible event organisers before the event starts.

In particular, any form of racism, sexism, discrimination or harassment will not be tolerated. If you are the victim of, or witness such behavior, you are requested to report it to the event organizers or ESN Bern directly.

Refund policy

Please understand that ESN Bern cannot issue refunds on any tickets sold due to multiple reasons. You are allowed to resell the ticket for the same price to fellow students / ESN members (with the same train reductions). Please note that selling tickets with a profit is forbidden.

Also note that the illness insurance is provided by Eventfrog and ESN has nothing to do with it.
