It's all about curiosity, discovering something new, and enjoying the magic of storytelling together.

Our First Evening: Jane Eyre

We're starting our literary journey with one of the most beloved novels of the 19th century — Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.

First published in 1847, Jane Eyre tells the unforgettable story of a young woman searching for independence, love, and her place in the world. A story of courage, mystery, passion, and staying true to oneself.

For our first evening, we'll travel back to the early days of cinema and watch the 1934 screen adaptation of this literary classic.

We'll start with a short introduction to the novel and its author, then make ourselves comfortable for the film screening. Afterwards, everyone is welcome to stay for a relaxed conversation about the story, the characters, and our impressions.

Whether you've read Jane Eyre several times, watched another adaptation, or have absolutely no idea what the story is about — this evening is for you!

Grab a cup of coffee or tea, find yourself a cozy spot, and join us for an evening of classic literature, cinema, and lovely company.

Great stories are even better when shared.
