We present ELSEWHERE: ALONE IN AFRICA, a film followed by a panel discussion with filmmaker and adventurer Anselm Pahnke. 15,000 kilometers. 414 days. 15 countries. Anselm crossed the African continent by bicycle, capturing breathtaking footage with a small compact camera.

Throughout his journey, Anselm develops a deep love for this vast continent, as well as a profound trust in both the people he meets and in himself.

The film won the Guild Film Prize for Best Documentary (2019), Anselm Pahnke is a gifted speaker. The evening promises to be an inspiring encounter with adventure and a motivation to rethink future travel in a more “terran” way, by bike, train, or bus.
