HERCULES & LOVE AFFAIR

Founded by American DJ, producer and songwriter Andy Butler in New York, Hercules & Love Affair has been redefining the boundaries between underground dance music, live performance and artistic expression since the early 2000s.

The project gained international recognition with its groundbreaking self-titled debut album in 2008, featuring the iconic single "Blind", with vocals by ANOHNI. The track became an instant modern Disco classic, celebrated for its emotional depth, timeless production and powerful fusion of House, Disco and Soul.

Since then, Hercules & Love Affair has developed into a constantly evolving musical collective, collaborating with extraordinary vocalists, musicians and performers while exploring the intersections of electronic music, queer culture and contemporary art.

With acclaimed albums such as Blue Songs, The Feast of the Broken Heart, Omnion and In Amber, Andy Butler has continued to challenge expectations, moving effortlessly between euphoric dancefloor anthems, intimate songwriting, experimental electronics and emotionally charged performances.

Rooted in the spirit of New York's legendary underground club scene, Hercules & Love Affair draws inspiration from the freedom, diversity and expressive energy of Disco culture. Their music is more than entertainment: it is a celebration of individuality, connection and the transformative power of the dancefloor.
