SOLID DARK

Born from the Swiss electronic music platform Solidarity, SOLID DARK has developed into an independent record label, event series and collective dedicated to underground techno. Founded by Kevqube and David Kawka, the project champions a musical identity built on authenticity, artistic freedom and a deep respect for the dancefloor.

With releases and events showcasing established international artists alongside emerging Swiss talent, SOLID DARK has become an active force in Bern's underground techno community. From intimate club nights to large-scale rave experiences, the collective places music and genuine human connection above commercial trends.

DAVID KAWKA

Co-founder of SOLID DARK and one of the driving forces behind the collective's musical direction. Based in Bern, David Kawka represents the raw and hypnotic side of contemporary techno, with a passion for powerful grooves, immersive atmospheres and carefully constructed musical journeys. His work includes the 031.EXE EP, a five-track release inspired by the underground sound of Bern. Alongside Kevqube, he has also shared the decks in support of Berghain resident Fadi Mohem.

DEE JOTA

A long-standing figure in Bern's electronic music scene, Dee Jota, also known as Juan Vasquez, brings years of experience as a DJ, promoter and event organiser. Known for his involvement with the SOMNIA event series, he joined the SOLID DARK team in 2025, contributing his extensive knowledge of underground club culture. His presence behind the decks reflects the collective's commitment to authentic techno and the shared energy of the dancefloor.

KEVQUBE

Kevin Stäger, better known as Kevqube, is the founder and creative visionary behind SOLID DARK. Active in the electronic music scene for more than a decade, he has been exploring the deeper and more hypnotic dimensions of techno since 2018. His musical approach is built around rolling grooves, subtle rhythmic evolution and the art of building tension. As both a DJ and promoter, Kevqube is committed to creating meaningful experiences that connect artists, music and audiences.

KAI UNER

A Bern-based DJ with longstanding ties to the SOLID DARK story. Together with Kevqube, Kai Uner co-founded the earlier BUNKR techno project in 2018, helping establish the foundations from which SOLID DARK would eventually emerge. His appearance brings a connection to the collective's roots and its ongoing dedication to underground electronic music.

MARCUS RUPRECHT

Representing Bern's local electronic music community, Marcus Ruprecht joins the SOLID DARK lineup at Palais Mascotte. Part of the collective's wider artist network, he contributes to an evening dedicated to the diversity, energy and creative spirit of the Swiss underground techno scene.

For one night, SOLID DARK brings its vision of underground club culture to Palais Mascotte. From hypnotic grooves to driving techno, expect an immersive experience where the music takes control and the dancefloor becomes the centre of everything.
