In unserem Alltag nicht zu übersehen, und doch oft übersehen. Die Elefant*innen sitzen in unserer Sprache fest, schlafen in unseren Köpfen, wurden in unsere Haut gestochen und lassen sich auf unseren Strassen beobachten. Sie erscheinen gross und schwer an alltäglichen Orten und in unerwarteten Szenen. Gianna Roveres Debüt «Episoden von Alltagselefanten» versammelt Kurztexte, die durch spielerisches Suchen, Sammeln und Finden entstanden sind. Wie in einem Kaleidoskop tauchen dabei überraschende Überlagerungen und Verbindungen von Elefant*innen und Frauen auf. 

Die Lesung wird atmosphärisch begleitet von Soundkünstlerin "Lea Luisa". Sie hat sich mittels Field Recordings mit elefantigen Klängen, dunklen und rauen Tönen sowie hellen Rüsselschwenkern auseinandergesetzt. Auf diesem Klangteppich schauen die Autorin und die Musikerin gemeinsam auf die inneren und äusseren Blicke, die ihre Erscheinungen, ihre Körper und Volumen jeden Tag streifen.
