In der Fassung des Theater Poetenpack wird die Geschichte des jungen, draufgängerischen d’Artagnan
erzählt, den es aus der verschlafenen Provinz Gascogne ins Zentrum der Nation nach Paris zieht. Dort will er
sich der königlichen Gardetruppe der Musketiere anschliessen. Zunächst muss er seine drei Mitstreiter Athos,
Porthos und Aramis in Duellen kennenlernen, bevor sie ein erfolgreiches Quartett bilden. Gemeinsam ziehen
sie gegen den intriganten Kardinal Richelieu und seine geheimnisvolle Spionin Lady de Winter in den Kampf.
Ihr Motto lautet: «Einer für alle – alle für einen!»

Nicht ohne ironische Distanz zum klassischen Mantelund-Degen-Drama und mit einem Augenzwinkern
präsentiert das Theater Poetenpack die heldenhaften Abenteuer der vier Musketiere.

Mit seinem Roman «Die drei Musketiere», der in Fortsetzungen in der französischen Zeitung «Le Siècle»
1844 veröffentlicht wurde, errang der Dichter Alexandre Dumas Weltruhm.
