Als „ambassadors of aloha“ möchten wir dieses Fest mit euch feiern. „Aloha“ ist dabei nicht nur eine liebevolle Begrüßung sondern ein Lebensgefühl und Wertehaltung, die Liebe, Mitgefühl, Frieden und gegenseitger Respekt bedeutet. Wir widmen dieses lange Wochenende ganz diesem hawaiianischen Lebensgefühl und feiern das Ende des Sommers mit euch.

„Swing your Uke!“ – Gleich 2 Ukulele Workshops der besonderen Art!

„Swingin‘ Singin‘ – Jazz Ukulele Workshop 14:00 – 15:00 Uhr
Sing and swing a beloved tune from the golden jazz era. Along with learning the vocal part to a catchy tune from about a century ago, you’ll leave the workshop with a complete arrangement for the uke accompaniment of the song at hand, perfect for framing your singing. Expand your swing repertoire and learn some fun uke techniques that you can apply to other songs in your repertoire, too, and really swing your uke.

„Triplets Galore“ – Special Ukulele Techniques 15:30 – 16:30 Uhr
The triplet is the ultimate traditional ukulele strum. Like most strumming hand techniques, it’s basically a dance of the hand, in this case with two fingers and a loose wrist. In this workshop you will learn the basic triplet, turn it into the quintessential ukulele groove and then morph it into a fierce but fluent roll. You will also learn other techniques that count in three, like George Formby’s splitstroke and fanstroke, and even Zaza’s own invention, the magical Peacock.
