Synopsis: Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language historical courtroom drama film. Based on the book "The Case That Shook the Empire" by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, the film explores the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919. It follows the journey of C. Sankaran Nair, a British-Indian barrister, who, after the massacre, challenges the British authorities by seeking justice for the victims and exposing the truth about Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer’s actions. Despite facing immense political and personal pressure, Nair fights in a courtroom battle against the British government, ultimately revealing the massacre’s brutal truth. The film stars Akshay Kumar as Nair, with R. Madhavan, Ananya Panday, and Regena Cassandra in key roles, adding depth and emotion to this historical legal struggle.
