What is Eventfrog Live and how do I create online and live streaming events?

With Eventfrog Live you can sell tickets for your livestream or online event directly via Eventfrog and embed the livestream on Eventfrog.

Choose the option «Online event» under «Type of venue» during the event creation process.

How do I create an event with a live stream?

If your online event includes live streaming, you can select the option «Streaming event».

How can I activate streaming after the registration process?

In the editing mode of your event, the menu item «Streaming» will appear. There, you can:

  • select the checkbox «Enable streaming»
  • choose your streaming provider, or
  • simply add the URL to your stream

Even if you don’t want to sell tickets, you can add a streaming link here. The link will be displayed on the event detail page, and the stream will start when the event begins.

If you are selling tickets:

Ticket buyers will automatically receive the streaming link in their order confirmation. In addition, Eventfrog sends an automatic reminder email with the streaming link 24 hours before the event starts – so no one misses the livestream and you don’t need to send any manual reminders.

This means your livestream is fully prepared, and Eventfrog takes care of delivering all the necessary information to your participants on time.

Can I offer the livestream with an optional donation?

Yes. Simply create one free category for access to the stream and add additional donation categories with fixed ticket prices.

Eventfrog supports all well-known streaming providers as well as its own streaming solutions.
