What happens when music paints and images begin to sing?
Strings of Color is an interdisciplinary performance where harpist Alice Aubert and visual artist Silvia Fabiani create a dialogue between sound and digital art. Through an innovative interplay of live harp music and reactive visual projections, the performance blurs the boundaries between music and image, allowing each medium to inspire and transform the other in real time.
Their new program, The Colours Sing, the Harp Draws – Hymn to the Alps, is a poetic tribute to the Alpine landscape. Rather than depicting mountains as a simple backdrop, the performance invites audiences to experience the Alps as a living, fragile world shaped by geology, legend, memory, and climate. Featuring a diverse repertoire ranging from Debussy and Marcel Tournier to contemporary composers, film music, and works for harp with electronics, the concert offers an immersive experience where colours, movement, and music become one artistic language.

Alice Aubert is a Swiss harpist trained in Lausanne, Troyes, and at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. A passionate chamber musician and educator, she has performed in numerous ensembles spanning classical, Celtic, Latin American, contemporary, jazz, and improvised music. Alongside her solo recordings, she enjoys creating interdisciplinary projects that connect music with literature and visual arts.
Silvia Fabiani is a Geneva- and Leysin-based visual artist, filmmaker, and video performer specializing in digital imagery, live visuals, and projection mapping. Her work has been presented in theatres, festivals, museums, and interdisciplinary productions throughout Switzerland and internationally. Combining technology with artistic expression, she creates immersive visual environments that respond dynamically to live performance.

Que se passe-t-il lorsque la musique peint et que les images se mettent à chanter ?
Strings of Color est un spectacle interdisciplinaire réunissant la harpiste Alice Aubert et l'artiste visuelle Silvia Fabiani dans un dialogue entre musique et art numérique. Grâce à une interaction en temps réel entre la harpe et des projections visuelles générées en direct, les sons influencent les images tandis que celles-ci inspirent à leur tour l'interprétation musicale, créant une expérience immersive où les frontières entre les disciplines s'effacent.
Leur nouveau programme, Les couleurs chantent, la harpe dessine – Hymne aux Alpes, rend hommage à la beauté et à la fragilité des Alpes. Bien plus qu'un simple paysage, les montagnes y sont évoquées comme un territoire vivant, façonné par son histoire géologique, ses légendes et les défis du changement climatique. À travers un répertoire mêlant Debussy, Marcel Tournier, musiques de films et œuvres contemporaines, le spectacle invite le public à un voyage sensoriel où musique, couleurs et mouvement ne font plus qu'un.

Alice Aubert est une harpiste suisse formée à Lausanne, Troyes et au Royal Northern College of Music de Manchester. Musicienne de chambre passionnée et pédagogue, elle explore un vaste répertoire allant de la musique classique aux musiques celtiques, latino-américaines, contemporaines et improvisées. Elle développe également de nombreux projets interdisciplinaires mêlant musique, poésie et arts visuels.
Silvia Fabiani est une artiste visuelle, réalisatrice et vidéoperformeuse basée entre Genève et Leysin. Spécialisée dans l'image numérique, le montage vidéo et le mapping, elle collabore depuis de nombreuses années avec des ensembles musicaux, des compagnies de danse et des institutions culturelles en Suisse et à l'international. Son travail crée des univers visuels immersifs qui dialoguent en permanence avec la musique vivante.
