St. Michael zum Namensfest

Die Wiedereröffnung von St. Michael nach langjähriger, umfassenden Restaurierung ist ein besonderes Ereignis für Bamberg. Die Musica Canterey freut sich, ihre 19. TAGE ALTER MUSIK an diesem einzigartigen Ort abhalten zu dürfen. Den Abschluss der Konzertreihe markiert sein Namensfest am 29. September. Werke aus verschiedenen Epochen von der Gründung bis zur Auflösung des Klosters spannen einen weiten Bogen von gregorianischen Chorälen über Motetten der Renaissance bis zum 18. Jahrhundert. Dabei wird der Kirchenraum mit verschiedenen Aufführungsorten in Szene gesetzt.
