Make Your Comedy Feel Like You
Are you performing in comedy (or other arts) and struggling to find your voice? Do you wish that your comedy felt less formulaic and more unique to you? This workshop is designed to help comedians and the comedy-curious get a little bit closer to finding their own unique comedic voice. During this afternoon-long workshop you will gain more tools to figure out how to stand out in a crowd of repetitive comedy and make work that you can proudly say that only you could make. Whilst the workshop is open to all, it is designed for people that consistently perform comedy and will be drawing from principles of clowning, improv, and stand up.
The workshop takes place at The Beast Comedy Club Basel from 11:00-17:00 (potentially slightly longer, if necessary) with a lunch break. It will be conducted by comedian, clown, writer, and workshop teacher Teddy Hall, who has been performing for close to a decade and teaching for a few years, drawing from both his own experience in comedy and a wide variety of workshops and received education in the performing arts.
