You don’t need expensive toys or complicated crafts to connect with your child. All it takes is a playful mindset and a splash of color to bring a grey November morning to life! 🌈✨

Welcome to Frogs & Colors, our cozy Sunday Morning Family Playtime! 🐸

At Frogs in Mugs we believe that play is mental fuel no matter the age. So, we’ve designed a warm, creative morning for you to step out of “manager mode” and simply join in the fun with your kids – right alongside the Quartiertreff Sunday brunch!

• Time to play alongside your child (without screens, distractions, or to-do lists) and truly connect
• A fresh lens on playfulness and the endless possibilities hidden in “loose parts” and colorful materials
• Practical "froggy" ideas to take home (and make dark winter days lighter!)
• A community of like-minded parents who value playful parenting

☀️ How our afternoon will flow:

1. Warm-Up & Storytime: We’ll start with a fun icebreaker to bring everyone, big and small, together and set a playful pace. We’ll follow up with a short story with Alexandra (mom, creator, and author) and get a quick peek into the science behind creative play with Rosalía (mom of three and researcher).

2. Time to Play: Together, we'll explore our hands-on Play Invitations! We'll experiment with colors, tinker with loose parts, create vibrant patterns and little festive treasures, and just imagine together. You’ll discover how simple, open-ended play sparks curiosity, helps families co-regulate, and opens up effortless collaboration.

3. Wrap-Up: One last fun imagination game to charge our batteries for the road. Then the kids can enjoy open, free play while parents have a warm drink and connect with other families.​​​​​​

• For: Parents & kids (best suited for ages 3–10, but all siblings are welcome)
• When: Sunday, Nov 29 | 10:00–12:00
• Where: Quartiertreff Enge, Zürich
• Language: English, with German translation for the kids! All languages are welcome during playtime, as activities are designed for you to connect and create in your own family language.
• Free to join! 💛 Spots are limited to keep the group cozy, so please reserve 1 ticket for your family below. Any optional donations are warmly welcomed and go directly toward supporting our Verein and future community events.
