Vom 7. bis 12. September findet in Thalwil das KATAPULT-Festival  statt. Es ist das Festival für junge Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus allen Sparten. Haupt Ort ist das  Pfisterareal in Thalwil. Weitere Ausstellungen sind in der Art Box am Bahnhof Thalwil, im Hotel Sedartis und im Restaurant Gotthrad. Es gibt Theater, Tanz, Musik aus allen Kunsthochschulen der Schweiz. Mit dem Festivalpass kommen sie überall broblemlos rein.
