Are you Canadian or have friends/family that are Canadian? Maybe you lived in Canada or visted and just love the culture and people? Come celebrate Canada's National Day on July 5th and connect with other Canadians living in Switzerland.
This is a free event, please bring your own food and drink to consume at the picnic.
The meetup will take place in front of the China Garden, at the “Chinawiese”. Look out for the big Canadian flag and Canadian looking people:) Wear your most beloved Canadian attire to really show off your Canadian pride. I'll arrive there a little earlier to setup the grill, and no worries if you arrive later, just look for us!

I will bring my small grill along for all to use, as well as some disposable plates and cutlery. There will be a small table setup where you can place food that you want to share with the group(potluck style). Feel free to bring whatever meat you would want to grill, and whatever drinks you would like to drink, and your own picnic grill as well if you want.
Be prepared for the weather! Other things that may be useful to bring along: picnic blankets, camping chairs, sun block, towel/swim suit for the lake, umbrella...

If the weather forecast looks terrible, the event may be cancelled or just moved to an indoor area. This is an open event for anyone, so feel free to bring your significant other, family, friends or any other fans of Canada.
