Die neue Ausstellung der Kantonsbibliothek Vadiana blickt in die Tourismusgeschichte des Kantons St.Gallen. Anhand von Reiseführern, Ansichtskarten, Broschüren, Plakaten oder Nebelspalter-Karikaturen beleuchtet sie die touristische Entwicklung der Region. Diese führt von einer vielfältigen Kurlandschaft mit Milch- und Molkekuren bis hin zum modernen Ferien- und Freizeitkanton für Bade-, Ski- und Wandertourismus.
