Arm balances aren’t just about strength, and they’re definitely not just for those with an “advanced” practice.
In this workshop, we’ll approach them in a much more simple, step by step approach.
We’ll slow things down and look at the small pieces that make everything work: body placement, where your weight shifts, and how to actually use your own body efficiently.
This is a space to experiment without pressure. You don’t need to be strong, flexible, or experienced; just open to trying something new and perhaps seeing these poses a little differently.
We’ll play with a range of arm balances like crow, side crow, firefly, eka pada koundinyasana, and other poses. The focus isn’t on achieving them perfectly but understanding what your body needs so that, over time, these poses start to feel more natural and weave themselves into your practice.
