Bojana Nikolić Petričković is a Serbian singer, ethnomusicologist, and vocal coach specializing in traditional vocal techniques of the Balkans. With a Master’s degree in ethnomusicology and over 15 years of experience, she is known for her deep knowledge of rural polyphonic styles, ornamentation, and asymmetrical Balkan rhythms. Bojana has performed and taught across Europe, combining field research with stage performance and pedagogy. Her work is rooted in authenticity, vocal strength, and cultural heritage.

• Singing in seconds (intervals), intonation training, and working with dissonant harmonies
• Songs in the na bas style
• Practicing two-part singing: leading and accompanying voice
Part III – The Art of Ornamentation in Balkan Singing
• Practicing vocal ornaments with a focus on Roma and Bulgarian traditions
• Ornament patterns, phrasing, and stylistic application
• Singing styles of Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Metohija, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Roma music traditions
