The Bern Innovation and Science Walk highlights political, social, and scientific innovations. The walk is only open to participants of the ISIRC conference.
We start with a visit to the “Impact Hub Bern,” which promotes social innovation and circular economy transition. Passing by the Parliament Building, we will learn about Switzerland’s political system, which is based on direct democracy and consensus politics. We end our walk in front of the “Einstein House,” where Einstein lived from 1903 to 1905. It was during this time that he made some of his most profound discoveries.
Meeting point: Monday, September 2, 6 p.m. at the entrance to the Heiliggeistkirche, which is located opposite the “Loeb” department store right next to the main train station. Bring your water bottles with you. You can refill them during our walk at one of the fountains in the old town.
