Former Members of Metal Church / Vicious Rumors, Chinchilla and Ivanhoe have joined forces to bring the maximum of energy to the fans live.
CAVE from Ludwigsburg, Germany is a new band consisting of very experienced and renowned musicians. Chris Lorey, known from his work with the progressive metal bands IVANHOE and SCENES had the vision of an old school Hard'n Heavy band with progressive elements and a modern, un to date production. Chris had some sprawling sessions with various musician friends and at some point Roberto Palacios (CHINCHILLA, MY DARKEST HATE, GOBLINS BLADE), joined forces.
After a few magic moments it was clear, these songs must be recorded and published properly! Drummer Steffen Theurer, an old bandmate from Roberto could be convinced to record the drums in the studio. Since Roberto knows Ronny Munroe (ex- TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, METAL CHURCH, VICIOUS RUMORS, LILLIAN AXE) from some shows of this band with METAL CHURCH they decided to ask him, since Ronny has one of the most unique voices in Hard Rock and Metal nowadays.
After listening to the demos Ronny immediately decided to join the band. Since Steffen Theurer (ex-SYMPHORCE, WARKINGS) is very busy CAVE needed a permanent drummer, and this is where former CHINCHILLA drummer Chris Schwinn stepped

THEN COMES THE NIGHT
THEN COMES THE NIGHT was founded in 2019 in Riedlingen – Southern Germany where it is also located now.
Their music incorporates a vivid mixture of Power- and Heavy Metal elements as well as traditional Hard Rock and Rock’n’Roll. Modern and classical composition techniques provide a vast and interesting sound variety.
The Music incorportes a vivid mixture of elements like Power- and Heavy Metal as well as Hard Rock and Rock’n’Roll and elements and structures typical to Musicals thus providing a vast and interesting sound variety.
After a few singles, the band released the first album ‚CHAPTER 1‘ on January 1st, 2022, which has been streamed thousands of times. On October 13, 2023 the Band has released its second Album called ‚Start The Change‘ . On July 17th, 2024, THEN COMES THE NIGHT released the video single BIS INS ALTER. It’s their first song with German lyrics and was inspired by one of the most famous German breweries ZWIEFALTER. Metalapolis Records re released the Album ‚Start The Change‘ on July 26d, 2024.
