Masterpieces from Zurich museums step out of their frames and become dishes to be savored at our table. Salottino and its Chef Angelina Valentim collaborate with MatchArt's art historians to craft a three-course vegetarian menu inspired by depicted ingredients only for FOOD ZURICH 2024. The event, lasting 3 hours, will alternate live preparation and eating of the 3 dishes (appetizer, main course, and dessert) with unexpected stories of the ingredients and scenes depicted in the works of art that inspired each dish. We will enjoy discovering what our ancestors produced and harvested, how they cooked these ingredients, and picking up culinary curiosities and secrets from ancient Swiss recipe books.
Additionally, guests who wish to participate can assist the chef in the preparation of the dishes.
