Can I refund a deposit (e.g. for cups) via Cashless?

Yes. If you hand out reusable tableware against a deposit at your event and want to refund it on return, you can handle this via Eventfrog Cashless.

Here's how it works:

1. Add a corresponding product for the return – for example with the title «Return».
2. In the Cashless system, you enter a negative amount for the return.
3. The negative amount can then be settled in two ways:
   - As a cash payout: The deposit is refunded via the cash function. (No other settlement method is currently available.)
   - When purchasing further products: If the guest places a new order at the same time, the deposit refund can be deducted directly from the total amount. The remaining amount can then be paid as usual using the chosen payment method.
