For the first installment of our new party series, "CEREMONY," at Basel's premier experimental venue WURM, we’ve invited two artists we deeply admire. From Australia, KIA brings her signature intricate grooves and deep, immersive sounds. Since founding her label Animalia in 2019, it has become a highly respected platform for releases, mixes, and events. KIA champions underground and DIY sounds, encouraging experimentation and nuance in every project. Joining her is Milan’s production wizard, Piezo, known for his trailblazing sound design and layered rhythms. The Italian maestro has been one of our favorites for a long time, continually captivating us with his productions and DJ sets—an honorable mention goes to his unforgettable set at Terraforma, which had us sweating through the afternoon heat. Supporting them are Somatic Rituals founders Kombé, Mafou, and Mukuna.
