The Tibetan Community in Switzerland & Liechtenstein (TCSL), with approximately 9000 members, is the largest Tibetan exile community in Europe. Founded in 1973, it was created to preserve Tibetan culture and address political issues. Since 1995, TCSL has operated under a municipal code, with 25 sections led by dedicated leaders, including a President and Vice President. It maintains close cooperation with the Tibet Office, exile parliament representatives, the Tibet Institute, Tibetan women Association, Tibetan Youth Association in Europe, the Swiss-Tibetan friendship society, and other Tibetan organizations.
In Aargau, our Tibetan community comprises around 400 active members. We are proud to organize a Tibetan New Year concert, open to everyone around us. It is an invitation to celebrate together, united by our rich heritage, with a noble aim: the proceeds will support our Tibetan Weekend School and promote our cultural legacy. Every contribution helps preserve and pass on our language, traditions, and identity, ensuring that our rich culture endures. As custodians of our heritage, it is our duty to keep our traditions alive, share our unique story, and inspire future generations to cherish and uphold our Tibetan roots.
