The exhibition features 20 artworks divided into three themes: portraits of activists, images of their actions and abstract works inspired by the IPCC report. Each piece is hand-painted onto the iconic orange high-visibility vests worn during actions. This medium represents the hopes, dreams, ideals, anger and fears of the people behind the movement, and reflects the call for urgent climate action.
Alongside the artwork, there will be informative panels offering a deeper look into the movement’s mission and the collaborative social structure it aims to create, as well as video testimonies from activists.
We hope to see you at the opening, where you can engage with the art, meet the artist and the activists, and learn more about how this movement is making a difference!
