COLORS: of the diaspora - art exhibition curated by Botaki Factory & hosted by Sankofa Residents/ AfroBasel

This exhibition understands color as something shaped through both unity and difference. It is seen, remembered, and interpreted through shared yet diverse ways of living, where connection and contrast exist at the same time rather than excluding each other.

This exhibition marks the start of a new platform for artist of African descent residing in Switzerland, to showcase their work during the week of ArtBasel.

Diese Ausstellung versteht Farbe als etwas, das durch Einheit und Unterschied gleichermaßen geprägt ist. Sie wird wahrgenommen, erinnert und interpretiert durch gemeinsame und doch vielfältige Lebensweisen, in denen Verbindung und Kontrast nebeneinander bestehen, anstatt sich gegenseitig auszuschließen.

Diese Ausstellung markiert den Beginn einer neuen Plattform für Künstler in der Schweiz mit afrikanischer Abstammung, um ihre Werke während der ArtBasel-Woche präsentieren zu können.
