ACOUSTIC HEROES – A biography
The Spanish guitarist / singer / songwriter and producer Jorge Salán released his first album at the age of 19, a release which was only the start of many other studio and live work throughout the past two decades.
He is the lead guitarist of the band SOTO, the band of Jeff Scott Soto (JOURNEY, Yngwie Malmsteen, TALISMAN, SONS OF APOLLO), Joe Lynn Turner (DEEP PURPLE, RAINBOW) and a member of the band AVALANCH. The Madrilene is often called in by many industry giants for various studio and project work and is considered by critics and audiences to be one of the best contemporary rock and blues-rock musicians. His extensive list of collaborations includes Robin Beck, Dee Snider, Carmine Appice, Bob Daisley, Eric Martin, Danny Vaughn, DANGER DANGER, Steve Augeri and many others.
Jorge’s Brazilian colleague and friend BJ is in no way inferior to him in terms of musical diversity.
