The FOG Festival offener Genres is a festival for experimental electronic music and contemporary sound art.
The program focuses on swiss and international artists. From 19.9.-21.9.2024, FOG Festival presents 16 performances and a group exhibition with multiple sound art Installations. The highlight is the Swiss premiere of Ryoji Ikeda's “100 Cymbals” on Thursday, 19.9. The concert is being produced in close collaboration with the Percussion Studio of the Musikakademie Basel. Other highlights include performances by Noemi Büchi, Julien Desprez and other renowned guests. The festival takes place on the Kasernenareal, Basel and is a co-production with the Kaserne Basel.
