Musculoskeletal Disorder Prevention (15')
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are diseases that affect the joints of the upper limbs and the lower back. Professional activity can play a role in their onset, duration or worsening, particularly when the organization of work is a vector of risk factors (repetitive movements, static work, excessive effort, carrying heavy loads, etc.).
MSDs represent 87% of occupational diseases and back pain represents 20% of work accidents. For employees, almost half of MSDs cause serious after-effects with risks of professional disengagement. In addition to an approach aimed at improving work conditions, physical activity contributes significantly to preventing MSDs.
Pilates matwork (1h standard practice or personalized based on participant chronic pathology or pregnancy)
The classes are divided into 5 levels and at each level there are 6 categories of muscular and postural work: abdominal, hip, spinal articulation, lateral flexion and rotation, back extension and complete body integration. Each session begins with a warm-up and ends with a stretch.
