Dear Erasmi, get ready to join us for one last amazing day trip to Ticino, this time to the breathtaking Valle Verzasca – a wonderful valley of contrast. We will start in Lavertezzo Ai poss and explore the beautiful village by walking with a view of the iconic double-arched medieval bridge Ponte dei Salti on river Verzasca. Then we will also do a nice 12 km hike along the river to Brione and back, which will take around (3 – 3.5) hours. And we will be back in Bern by 10 pm. Alternatively, if the weather is terrible, we will visit Bellinzona instead and go to the medieval Castles of Bellinzona (UNESCO site) and back to Bern by 9 pm. So don't miss this last opportunity of this semester to explore the south of Switzerland!
WHERE: Bern Bahnhof to Lavertezzo
WHEN: The event will take place on Saturday, 08.06.2024. We meet in Bern Bahnhof (under the giant display screen) at 6:40 am and will be back to Bern at 21:58
Tickets include Train and Bus Tickets DO NOT include Lunch and dinner
❗️Important Info: Bring good shoes, sunglasses, enough water to drink, a raincoat/umbrella, and enough food for the long journey as you cant buy food at the place where we are going.
