It will focus on the United States, the world's leading power, which is now more divided than ever. On the one hand, Donald Trump embodies the deep, downgraded America, losing out to globalization and calling for a return to industrial protectionism to restore its economic sovereignty. On the other hand, Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, represents an America of large cities, minorities, and winners of globalization, anchored in new societal values (cancel culture woke...).
