Moi, un Afropeen: A workshop dialogue, film screening, acoustic set, and conversation with André Ottou Ottou and Balz Andrea Alter

In 2011, André Ottou, also known as Otu Bala Jah, the protagonist, left Cameroon to pursue his career in Europe. After aspiring to set foot and establish his career in France, due to unforeseen circumstances, he returned to his place of birth in 2014. The storytelling of "Moi, UN AFROPEEN" (2009-2017) revolves around images of a better life and everyday scenes from his migration journey, which this musician (re)produces through his art. "The young people follow the good things they see," says the protagonist's grandmother, getting to the heart of the matter.
